Welcome to the World of the Overthinker named Ashley Kaye!

Hi, welcome to Ashley's world -- a world filled with thoughts & mixed emotions that only few would understand. My name may be common, but it has a deep meaning. Ashley is derived from a tree name, ash tree meadow, which symbolizes strength and power. On the other hand, my zodiac sign, Scorpio (because I was born in November), also symbolizes power and inborn leadership. Coincidence? I don't think so.

In my 26 years of my existence, I spent most of my time thinking about random thoughts. This blog is a new channel of mine that would allow me to share my thoughts and ideas with anyone who's about to read everything written in this new emotional outlet.

People who know me well would often describe me as an overthinker. Being an overthinker has its good & bad sides.

The Good Side- I became a person who is very attentive to detail, to the point that before submitting important documents/papers to anyone and before clicking check out when I do online shopping, I check every detail at least thrice to avoid any corrections.

The Bad Side- I sometimes find myself sad and frustrated because I give attention to even the smallest detail of what has happened to me in a day. My mind is filled with both positive & negative thoughts, and some of them won't even matter in the next days of my life. But I eventually realized that this only happens before and during my red days. PMS it is. 😂

Being an overthinker is both a blessing and a curse, and you are going to find out why because on my next posts, you are going to witness and read the random thoughts of an overthinker named Ashley Kaye. 💓

Every person, at least once in their lives, has already experienced different kinds of pain, and no one is exempted from feeling this sensation. I can still remember the popular line from one of my favorite movies, The Fault in Our Stars, which says "pain demands to be felt." It is an inevitable feeling that none of us can avoid, because this sensation is meant to be part of our lives. But for me, pain is a wonderful sensation. Pain is a feeling that helps us determine what is right and wrong for us. Experiencing this will allow us to identify the things that we are not supposed to do in the future, because avoiding pain is one of people's natures. Pain is something that helps us recognize the pleasures of life. It is something that would give us the feeling of freedom once we already know how to let go of a certain type of...
